2002 - Paris.......For
what was the beginning of a bumper year, Mrs
Makkers
took Makkers to Paris for his birthday and not
just for a romantic weekend away - oh no, but to
see the lovely Kylie too on her 2002 'Fever'
tour. Unfortunately our pictures from the
Kylie gig were not very good, but we had a good
seat and an absolutely cracking time.
First Class on Eurostar to Paris,
shared the Exec Lounge at Waterloo with Atomic
Kitten, cheap hotel, crap bed but superb room
with 'character', excellent Kylie gig, super
evenings out and most of the sights - oh and it
was France hottest few days of the year!

And finally the Central Obelisk - 3,300
years old and a gift from Egypt around 1833.
It is located at the Place de la Concorde
which is around where they guillotined
approximately 3,000 people during the French
Revolution. |
